To schedule an appointment please call, text or email email: info@therefinedequine.com call/text: 203-558-8679Once we receive your request we will add you to our appointment list to get you scheduled with other barns/ clients in your area.
Have your horse in, dry and groomed (hoofs picked out and clean) for your appointment timeIf it is going to rain, please make sure your horse is clean and dry when we arrive- we cannot work with a wet horse.Have all of your tack out, clean and ready to go (including your bridle, saddle pad(s) and girth(s) Be ready to ride (have your helmet, boots, gloves, safety vests, whip, spurs, etc. on). Riding in your saddle after it has been adjusted is part of the service fee.
For Saddle fitting: We will evaluate your saddle on your horse, adjust flocking, and watch you ride to verify fit for you and your horse. If you don't have a saddle, or your current saddle can't be fit, we can make recommendations for one that will.For Bodywork:We will collect a history including vet records and images from you and then evaluate your horse to determine the best modality (massage, accupressure, osteopathy, cold laser). Be prepared to walk and/or trot the horse in hand as a part of the evaluation.All Appointments:Are up to one hour. We appreciate your assistance on helping us stay on a schedule by being ready for your appointment (see question above).
Payment is due on the day of service, no exceptions. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, Venmo and PayPal. Any invoices not paid on day of service may be subject to late fees/ finance charges. Please make all checks payable to The Refined Equine, LLC.
